I spent the day visiting several almond orchards and driving past a dozen more. None of SHV, but the blossom levels at all orchards were higher than last year and the pollination weather and varietal overlap has also been better this year. This should be an ‘on’ year. Higher yields but smaller kernel. Large almonds will be worth more than gold (and BTC). Frost is probably the only short term risk, but less significant for SHV who have orchards across multiple regions.
