OFFICE: VCT: Vector announces executive appointments
Vector today announced the appointment of new members of its executive team -
Dan Molloy as Chief Financial Officer and Shelley Watson to the newly created
role of Group General Manager External Relations.
Vector Chief Executive Simon Mackenzie said Mr Molloy has extensive
experience in both financial and commercial environments, most recently as
part of the executive team at Northpower as Chief Financial Officer.
Other previous roles include positions with Credit Suisse First Boston and
KordaMentha and experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions,
insolvency, corporate finance and financial consulting.
"I am pleased to welcome Dan to the organisation and look forward to the
valuable contribution he will make, particularly given his strong
understanding of the sector," he said.
Mr Mackenzie said Ms Watson has extensive experience in external relations
and marketing, most recently at Auckland Council and previously at Auckland
Regional Transport, 2degrees and Vodafone NZ Ltd.
"Shelley's previous experience extends to both the private and public sectors
including relevant executive and senior marketing and communications
positions. Shelley will bring strong focus to ensuring Vector's position,
brand and voice is well articulated and understood by all stakeholders, she
will make an important contribution to Vector's executive team," he said.
Mr Molloy and Ms Watson will commence in November 2013.
