NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Following is the Notice of Annual General Meeting of Bathurst Resources (New
Zealand) Limited (ASX / NZX:  BRL) being dispatched to shareholders today.

Since the printing of this Notice of Meeting, the Company has been advised
that it is on the list of constituents of the ASX300 list.  ASX listed
companies that make up the ASX300 list are not permitted to apply for the
additional 10% placement facility.

Therefore the Company intends to withdraw Resolution 5, Approval of Placement
Facility, at its meeting to be held on Thursday 31 October 2013 at 3.30 p.m.
(NZST).
