You know very well that ive been short for a number of weeks now (US market), but i think you are right here. The sell-off across the indices today has been overdone when you look at the fact its happened in a 6 hour period. Dow at 900 points down as we speak. Filling the gaps above (or below for the VIX) and rallying into xmas would make the majority very happy. It would also mean i could buy a nice xmas tree and put some presents under it
