New uranium high $81.40
Had interesting chat with the MD of a uranium explorer in Canada. She was explaining why uranium is so hot because the whole world is not prepared for baseload nuclear energy. It takes years to build up a pipeline of uranium to feed this many nuclear reactors. Essentially that pipeline is non-existent today and now every nuclear country is madly scrambling for any scraps of uranium left.
Explains the sharp increase of spot market uranium prices today.
