the problem at the moment is that we are in reporting month...Jan quarterly 2008 so the losses will now come home to roost from insto,s and the like.....the feds will have to cut rates to tame the tiger but in the meantime im not sure if the market will take kindly to more citygroup type news ...if citigroup lost 10 billion what is the casulty for the other financial instos who will relort this month...im picking the rest of Jan to be a wall street selloff and Feb should settle up a bit....plenty of stop losses triggered last night .....im not going to place a bet either way ...lets just wait and see what happens. in the US tonite....cheers JAM
