Just to clarify
ZipPay charges no interest, only a $6 monthly account keeping fee on any arrears for that month.
ZipMoney charges the 19.99% interest rate after the interest free term ends as well as the $6 account keeping fee for any month in arrears irrespective of whether it's during the interest free period or not.
They have to make money somehow and like you say credit cards are a lot worse. I don't know what the maximum credit limit is you could obtain from ZipMoney but I am confident it wouldn't be as outrageous as some credit card limits.
