VMob appoints Michael Carden as Non-Executive Director
The VMob board is pleased to announce the appointment of seasoned SaaS
entrepreneur Michael Carden as a non-executive director.
Carden's addition to the board will be a strong boost to VMob's 2014 growth
plans as he offers a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience in growing
tech businesses. He is well known both in the New Zealand and Silicon Valley
Tech industry for his leading edge understanding of successful SaaS business
models and proven B2B technology sales and marketing techniques.
Although he originally trained in Artificial Intelligence, Carden spent much
of his early career in consumer marketing for global corporations. Then in
2006 he founded Sonar6, a revolutionary Human Resources SaaS business, which
achieved world-wide success before being acquired by Cornerstone OnDemand
(NASDAQ: CSOD) in 2012. Post-merger, Carden went on to serve as Vice
President of Small Business Operations for Cornerstone.
Not only does he have valuable experience in the industry, he also sits on
the board of a number of New Zealand's most exciting tech companies and is a
member of the NZTE Beachheads Advisor Board.
