Subject: Auckland International Airport Limited ("AIA") - Return of Capital
and change of ISIN
Message:
On Thursday, 28 November 2013, Auckland International Airport Limited (AIA)
announced its proposed return of $454 million of capital to shareholders,
subject to Court approval and a special resolution being passed at a special
meeting of shareholders held on Wednesday, 12 February 2014.
Shareholder and Court approval were obtained on Wednesday, 12 February 2014
and Friday, 7 March 2014 respectively.
The return of capital will be on a pro-rata basis, with one (1) for every ten
(10) shares held cancelled at the Record Date of Monday, 7 April 2014.
Adjusted shares will be available at the registry on the morning of the Share
Adjustment Date of Tuesday, 8 April 2014 and shareholders will be paid
NZD$3.43 for each cancelled share on the Cash Payment Date of Monday, 14
April 2014.
In order for the repayment of capital to be processed and for trading on the
NZX Main Board to continue, a temporary ticker code ("AIAZ") with the ISIN
NZAIAE0002S6 will be created. AIAZ will be used from the Ex Date, Thursday, 3
April 2014 until market close on the Record Date, Monday, 7 April 2014.
On Tuesday, 8 April 2014, trading will resume using the original Auckland
International Airport Limited ticker code (AIA) with the new ISIN,
NZAIAE0002S6. At this time, trading in AIAZ will cease.
