Wow that's a TOP SPEED. The only Marine that i worked on was a 2 x screw prop of the ocean going dredge "RESOLUTION" also with Port n Starboard bow thrusters.. We dredged Newcastle Harbour in 1988 then Portland Vic, Bunbury Harbour in and out, Freemantle and Port Headland 10klm channel plus all the wharf areas.
My main steam condensing turbine machine was coupled with a blower blowing wind (320,000mt3\hr @ 380Kpa) to the Blast Furnaces at Port Kembla Steelworks 23,000 HP 454c @ 4,200kpa ... loved my job, 42yrs... (extremely fortunate to be there, through 4 redundency downturns, since 1979)
