TIL 14/05/2014 15:09 GENERAL REL: 1509 HRS Trilogy International Limited GENERAL: TIL: Trilogy announces partnership with Australian distributor 14 May 2014 "Trilogy announces partnership with top Australian distributor to support next stage of growth" Trilogy International Limited (NZX: TIL) announced today it is consolidating its Australian distribution for its Trilogy brand under a single relationship with McPherson's Consumer Products Pty Limited (McPherson's), a division of McPherson's Limited (ASX: MCP), to create efficiencies and support the next stage of growth in that market. Trilogy CEO, Stephen Sinclair, said McPherson's Health and Beauty division has outstanding national reach, infrastructure and relationships, and represents leading brands in the market. "This is a fantastic opportunity - we think this partnership sets us up to take the business to the next level, in a market where we see enormous potential," he said. "It will radically simplify our distribution strategy in Australia which, because of the size and nature of that market, has become increasingly fragmented as the business has grown". "As we've expanded, we've added different distribution partners to service different geographic areas and sectors of the market. "The current distribution strategy involves nine distribution points in Australia, four direct key account relationships and five independent distribution relationships. "The new model provides a single, integrated approach across distribution, sales and marketing execution. "We will very much be leading the strategy from New Zealand, but will now work closely with the McPherson's team who will execute that on the ground." Mr Sinclair said he was very satisfied with the commercial terms of the agreement which include clear performance targets. McPherson's Managing Director, Paul Maguire, said McPherson's Health and Beauty division, which is performing well, is strategically important and the business is committed to continuing to grow and invest in this area. "We are delighted to add Trilogy to the mix of leading brands we represent. Working together, I think we can make a real difference to Trilogy in the Australian market and we are very committed to this," he said.
