MEETING: ABA: Abano Notice of Special Meeting
Abano Healthcare Group advises that, following a valid special meeting
requisition received on 6 May 2014 from the registered shareholder of
interests associated with Peter Hutson and by James Reeves, the NZX has
approved the Notice of Meeting which will today be posted to all
shareholders.
The Special Meeting will be held on Friday 13 June 2014 at 10am in the
Pakuranga Hunt Room, Ellerslie Event Centre, Ellerslie, Auckland.
The requisitioned Special Meeting of shareholders is to vote on the removal
of Trevor Janes as a Director of Abano Healthcare Group Limited.
The Directors of Abano (other than Trevor Janes, who abstains) unanimously
support Trevor Janes and the company's strategy. The Directors have
distributed a letter to shareholders with the Notice of Meeting and
unanimously recommend that shareholders vote against the resolution.
