'Big guys entered, QQQ went higher but they didn't close off their trades'
Seeing as there's no way to know if these were long/short entries we can only make assumptions.
Price closed below one of the big prints so should we assume that was a short entry or perhaps some of the 'big guys' closing out a position?
Also, the 'big guys' more often than not scale out of a position so it can be almost impossible to see their exits.
To make matters more confusing is if the MMs want to run markets lower they actually start this by building a long position into the markets.
I know that seems counterintuitive and most people won't get their head around it but if you can then it will change the way you look at markets entirely...
QQQ Volume Leaders chart is certainly worth following - especially with a few heavier trades going in around current price, so cheers for sharing but I don't think it gives us a clear directional bias - yet...
If we look at QQQ chart with volume profiles then last nights action would be considered bearish seeing as price rejected strongly off the 10wk VPOC.
