Updated Governance Structures at TeamTalk
In accordance with NZX Listing Rule 10.6.1(d) TeamTalk Limited makes the
following disclosures of changes to group directors all with effect from 30
June 2014.
Steve Murray has announced his resignation from the board of TeamTalk.
Mr Murray, who is the CEO of Tuaropaki Trust, joined the board of TeamTalk in
December 2012 after the company acquired Farmside, which in turn had
purchased Tuaropaki Communications from the Trust earlier that same year.
His resignation reflects his increasing international work and travel
commitments which have meant he was simply no longer able to give TeamTalk
the time it deserved.
Mr Murray says he has valued his time on the board. "It is a great little
company, doing exciting things."
In a separate move the governance structures around BayCity Communications
have been reorganised. The full separate board that was established for
BayCity at the time of the acquisition has been disbanded with the two
remaining directors being TeamTalk's Managing Director (David Ware) and
Finance Director (Geoff Davis). This mirrors the arrangements in place for
the company's other two subsidiary companies (Araneo Limited and CityLink
Limited).
To ensure continuity and ongoing benefit from their skills and experiences
two of the former independent directors of BayCity, Reg Barrett and Derek
Locke, will be joining David Ware in a three person Advisory Board to focus
specifically on BayCity.
