NOTICE OF DESPATCH PURSUANT TO RULE 45 OF THE TAKEOVERS CODE
1. We refer to the takeover notice given by Christchurch City Holdings
Limited (CCHL) to Lyttelton Port Company Limited (LPC) dated 6 August 2014 in
relation to CCHL's intention to make a full takeover offer for all of the
fully paid ordinary shares in LPC that it does not already own (the Offer).
2. CCHL hereby gives notice pursuant to Rule 45 of the Takeovers Code that it
has today despatched the Offer Document in respect of the Offer to LPC's
shareholders.
3. Pursuant to Rule 45(1)(a)(ii) of the Takeovers Code, a copy of the Offer
Document is enclosed with this notice.
