GENERAL: STU: S&T to defend court proceedings
Following an extensive period of negotiations, Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd
(S&T) is defending proceedings at Wellington High Court today involving Lewis
Holdings Ltd and liquidators, Boris Van Delden and Peri Finnigan.
The case relates to a lease contract between Stube Industries Ltd (a former
subsidiary of S&T, liquidated in 2013) and Lewis Holdings. S&T is refuting
any legal responsibility for alleged losses of $1.75m in relation to the
contract.
