Aged care are federal responsibility and they can fund new nurses, particularly RNs, but they cannot employ nurses: its the job of Aged care facilities to make such appointments.
given past management facility managers have show clear reluctance to employ RNs. so the Gov should mandate such employee conditions that attract RNs to work for them.
how do you think facility managers/owners will react to such a mandate?
