There would be a record of the Aircode in the servers of the application at the end of the digital trail on the blockchain. So a transaction would have an independent verification, if something does go awry. The customer would be able to specify a time place and amount and even have a carrier's mobile phone transmission record to back up any claim. It would be possible to block disputed Aircodes from being cashed until resolution of a claim. So there is a lot of inherent security in terms of contractual and transactional record.
The Aircode is likely to be a digit too long to memorise.
The facility for an agent to print out a receipt with the Aircode would be a very simple addition.
I anticipate DCC's digitalX pocket would have a facility to store and transfer Aircodes
as well as connect easily with Airpocket.
