Australian Scheme Accreditation Secured for four new LED Ecobulbs
Energy Mad yesterday secured 20,000 hour lifetime accreditation for four new
LED Ecobulbs in the Australian Victorian State Government Energy Efficiency
Target (VEET) Scheme.
The accreditations were for the dimmable and non-dimmable 240V LED Ecobulbs
that replace halogen bulbs and the dimmable LED Ecobulb downlight that
replaces halogen and incandescent luminares.
Energy Mad Managing Director Chris Mardon said that Energy Mad's Australian
customers have shown strong interest in these LED Ecobulbs and have been
waiting for its VEET Scheme accreditation.
"With these four new accreditations plus the earlier 12V LED accreditation,
Energy Mad now has the required LED Ecobulbs to grow its VEET Scheme sales
through replacements for 12V and 240V halogen light bulbs and luminares", he
said.
Energy Mad's growth potential in the Australian State Government energy
efficiency schemes is expected to come from the replacement of halogen light
bulbs and fittings with LED Ecobulbs in the Victorian, Australian Capital
Territory and South Australian schemes he said.
