Appointment of Director

Pursuant to Listing Rule 10.6.1 TeamTalk makes the following disclosures in
relation to changes governance arrangements within the group.
As signalled in our half year results Reg Barrett has been appointed a
director of TeamTalk Limited.  Pursuant to Listing Rule 3.3.3 the Board has
determined that Reg is an Independent Director.
Reg is a Wellington based company director with assignments in both the
commercial and government sector in New Zealand and overseas.  He is a former
CEO of three organisations with Central and Regional government spanning 13
years, a military engineer career spanning 21 years retiring as a Colonel and
over 10 years executive experience with Vodafone.  He has had over 25 years
governance experience as both a Chairman and Director of commercial
enterprises and specialist knowledge in civil engineering projects,
telecommunications, supply chain, land transport and use of technologies as
enablers for enterprises.
"With extensive experience in the telco and IT sector Reg is well versed with
the issues and opportunities facing the TeamTalk group.  In addition to his
time at Vodafone he has been actively involved with us in the Farmside
business so we're delighted that he'll be able to bring all this expertise
and experience to the parent company board" said David Ware.
