I have been working back through all the appendix 3B's to confirm the shares on Issue,
as this will change the Market Cap. The equation being... shares Issued, multiplied by closing price, equals Market Cap.
Pretty sure the closing price is correct on those days, and most of the shares issued.
Can you check the ones in yellow, as I think they are closer to the mark.
The Market Caps should be correct in the column on the right.
What I have now started to do, is record the Market Caps, etc, for all the stocks on the ASX before and after index rollover.
This way I can create my own historical data base, and hopefully in the future not have to rely on data supplied by a third party.
Is there any data that you would like to see in this database ?
