Not sure if M is trading anymore. He was trading on a private blog with a small group, site was up for about a year. Certianly some fun times. Did one of my best falling knife trades, intraday, made so much I was shaking - felt like I'd drunk a 44-gallon drum of espresso . (Had to go shopping. Everyone was so disappointed that it was just groceries)
He had more experience than just about any other trader I've met in the markets - and certainly more integrity.
In that blog he also pioneered a new candle pattern that seemed to work particularly well with intraday charts.
He was a grandparent, living in NQ, so older than most traders.
He announced that he was coming to Sydney for some medical scans.
About a week later he said he was taking a break, and never returned, nor did he return emails.
It was amazing to watch him trade in an environment unencumbered by ego. (Well, OK, that might be simplistic, but if anything, it was supportive egos)
A little about myself here. I used to work near the SFE. In the olden days it used to have a library and bookshop. I used to borrow voraciously and would explore each of the various types of TA/FA. I dismissed candles in the first instance because of the implied romance in the names. I was always searching for a system, and not a set of "tricks". Watching M trade convinced me the worth of exploring further.
