The owls are certainly deep in the moss.

Is anyone interested in collectively collaborating in an effort to call a legitimate EGM and dismiss the current board and put in some alternative professionals of substance before this situation goes to far.

It will cost around $100,000 to do it.

I will contribute $20,000 and a case of wild salmon for the celebrations when the motion is successful and MRC is back on track.

It is now a very likely possibility that it is up to us shareholders to seize control in a legitimate manner and take care of our MRC investment as it is widely felt that the current board is absolutely not performing well, and the passage time has now shown this to be the case.

Essentially, the company seems to be floundering and I would rather it flounder with a board that we install, because if it ends up failing anyway, at least it will be on our terms taking action as shareholders.

I would also suggest that to be overall professional we engage a suitable career advice/placement agent to assist the board members on their dismissal should the 249D be successful, so that the blow is not too harsh on their own personal work life.
This is what we would do in Norway at least.

The legal counsel of MRC literally laughed at a shareholders question during the AGM.
This is not the calibre of persons I am comfortable with as the board as shareholder concerns should always dealt with a sense of decorum and respect.

Keep this thread just for this and in a week let us see if anyone else wants to participate.
If you are a lawyer, accountant or admin specialist, please feel free to offer some of your time or skills instead of money towards the implementation of a legitimately called EGM for:
a) dismissal of the complete board
b) installing a new board.
c) access to all company records
d) engage our own nominated forensic accountant to assess and confirm the financial status of the company at the time of the previous capital raising and as of now.
e) audit of purchasing and contracts on site in South Africa mine sites also regarding fuel supply contracts, transport of bulk product and worker salaries and benefits.
f) audit of community based development programs and the benefits any have achieved.

If there is interest to undertake this mission of an EGM, then we will need to nominate new board members, so if any of you are suitable for that role, then please put your names forwards.
