The other morning a saw a story on the news about a guy who collapsed in Bunnings. He was fitted with a non CDX heart monitor/ defibrillator which sent a message to his GP a few weeks later after a concerning heart rhythm was detected. This turned out the save his life and a pacemaker was installed to provided longer term management. This reenforced to me this will be the way of the future and 24hr monitoring of central blood pressure will soon become the new norm.
