Just starting out on this whole trading / charting 'mumbo jumbo'...

Just starting out on this whole trading / charting 'mumbo jumbo' (thanks mitta :) thing, and ran a search through Metastock for volume surges (following the VSA technique which seems to be an interesting idea). Anyways, dml turned up and so I thought I would have a quick look at how it could play out??

What stood out the most, was the large volume from back in March, and this coupled with the great news announcement this week, so figured it might be time for traders to book profits?? The last couple of days bars also seem like a good upthrust, but as mentioned it is for a couple of days now.

I was wondering, can an upthrust be hidden in a series of high volume bars with close spread � or are they commonly seen as single bars??
