I'm still very much a novice when it comes to O&G explorers but am trying to learn quickly.
At this early stage it would be very difficult to provide a valuation as Dino alluded to above since nothing has been proven yet.
The oil majors with their vast resources, experience and historical data would be able to put a dollar value on WHL's prospects and leads after adding in their own risk factors. That is obviously what they are busily doing at the moment after viewing the data.
The farm-in proposals will then give the market a pretty good guide as to WHL's current value and the SP will react accordingly. Rocketing upwards we're all hoping of course.
