Their rent is increasing with CPI, this year 6.1%, power prices which they use a lot of, gas and then all the increase in wages, double time, extra super etc.
Blame the reserve bank, state governments which won't back off on over priced infrastructure sucking all the labor and borrowing to pay for it.
The reserve should have increased rates by .5% today and the last meeting. So now they predict 8% which then will have to be passed on as it usually takes a loan to have a business.
All they care about is mortgage holders who have borrowed way too much when the reserve let property rise by 30% a year.
We are not looking good.
