Yes these companies are on C&M but during the down turn they cut out drilling and consumed all the high grade they could lay their hands on to keep operating so most of this group of companies will need to drill and shore up more product before committing to reproduction 18 - 24 month time frame.

The other item i would like to mention is the chinese consumption is increasing and should continue to and i believe the EV market has had little to do with it , As china's population moves to a middle wage group people tend to purchase items made of s/steel verses plastic as they can now afford it with 1.4 billion potential future buyers S/Steel has a good future not to even mentioning the EV market which is more psychological than anything at present.
But this is just a Blowflys thought !

I think another factor affecting this will be how many didn't really bother spending the dime on C&M. There are a few mines that would've been at depth and it just wasn't worth the cost of dewatering. PON would have to get pretty high to justify that sort of spend. I believe there are a few examples of that scenario lying around.
