25% no vote easily achieved

Have a look at the Westfield saga if you don’t think a 25% No vote is possible.

This deal has been put together with disregard for Australian retail shareholders. A cash option (perhaps capped to x number of shares) needs to be offered to retail shareholders as part of the Scheme.

What difference does it make to Igas. They either issue the shares now to cover the cash option or they issue an equivalent number of shares at completion.

No cash option Igas, no YES vote.
