I cant see why the hospitals should not be held accountable for complications or infections that occur whilst in that hospital.
Patients are sent home to quickly these days and the infections occur while in hospital.
It happened to me and I was readmitted for a week with a serious infection. I was ill when they sent me home. They gave me antibiotics to take. This after a ruptured appendix. They made some serious mistakes before I even got to the table.
Why shouldn't the hospitals and doctors who carried out the procedure pay, it is their mistake.
