Many years ago broker numbers showed who were the sellers and who were the buyers to stop the manipulation. As a stock broker at the time I was able to identify who were the sellers and who were the buyers. The ASX in their wisdom decided to take away this information from Stock brokers. Their reason was to make the market more transparent.
If you can work that out you are alot smarter then me.
So games continue to be played and if there are groups who are trying to buy cheap stock they can load up the sell side and make it look heavy and no one would ever be the wiser. Once they have acquired their stock they can then remove their sell orders. Or if they want to sell they can load up at lower levels to make the buying look stronger. It's market manipulation which ever way you look at it.
