    sounds like the example is a real mummy's boy....he is 27 and still a student

    compared to 25 years ago, he would have been married, with his own family, in his own house

    70...years ago, 18 year old men were fighting wars
    not so long ago, a 29 year old, would be considered very close to middle age......
    what caused this change in attitude to the adult men...?

    In Victoria, nearly a quarter of males aged 25-29 are living with their parents, compared to 18 per cent in 1986.

    A quarter of a century ago a third of this age group were actually dads in a family unit, but the figure had fallen to 13 per cent by last year's census.

    Trainee commercial pilot Shannon Beveridge, 27, is far from settling down.

    He still lives at home with his single mum Cindy because it's too expensive to live away as a student.
