    There are few rules when it comes to politics, "pork barreling" should be illegal (it is immoral)
    The sad thing is "most" of voters that are "taken in" by these kind of actions have an IQ of less than 100
    (given 100 is the average, although some days I wonder)
    So it works and politicians (on both sides) do it

    Part of the "democracy" we apparently so desperately need.

    Political parties and democracy do not go well together
    After all, it was supposed to be someone elected by a town would go to a central place to vote of behalf of the town.

    Now we have three levels of political parties doing what the party wants, not what the voters want, so they throw them a "bone" before the election to make the "below 100" forget.

    In my view, we have a woeful choice in this election, but that has been the same for a while
