250 jobs to go in the hunter valley smelters

250 plus jobs to go immediately at two of the Alumina smelters in the Hunter Valley. More to go when carbon tax is implemented.

250 jobs gone in alumina plants, 150 gone from tomatoe processing plant in Vic. Thats 500 jobs gone in a week. An that is just the tip of the iceberg. This does not include the layoffs going on in retail,manufacturing, farming. All over the country at the moment.

Lower aussie dollar needed.

Remove the Carbon Tax for the foreseeable future.
Implement moderate tariffs and moderate protectionism of Aussie products and goods. I know free trade is good but the rest of the world is implementing tariffs and hidden taxes and subsides for their products.
