OFFICE: STU: Phil Abraham appointed GM Distribution at Steel & Tube

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Abraham to the position of
General Manager, Distribution. He will commence with Steel & Tube on Monday
15 June 2015.

Phil brings to Steel & Tube a breadth and depth of experience that includes
strategy development and implementation and change leadership from a customer
and retail/operations perspective across a number of industries and
organisations.

Phil has significant experience in the management and leadership of
distribution-type businesses.  As the GM, Retail and Operations for Repco New
Zealand he was responsible for 600 staff across 93 branches and revenues in
excess of $200m.

As the GM, Rural Supplies and Marketing for Wrightson Ltd he was responsible
for the distribution supply chain, demand planning and marketing, with an
annual procurement spend in excess of $260m.

Prior roles include CEO, Save the Children New Zealand, CEO, Manfield Park
Trust and GM roles with TAB (Retail & Marketing) and New Zealand Post Ltd
(National Retail and Central Region).
Phil has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) (1996) and a Bachelor of
Business Studies (Marketing) (1984), both from Massey University
