ikeGPS names DXG Technology as Manufacturing Partner
-Agreement facilitates high-volume production capability to deliver near-term
orders and meet long-term market demand-
Wellington, New Zealand--ikeGPS (NZE: IKE) is pleased to announce
Taiwan-based DXG Technology, a global leader in electronic contract
manufacturing, as its new manufacturing partner. DXG Technology will enable
ikeGPS to scale its hardware production capabilities to meet the increased
demand for its laser-based field measurements solutions.
A 15-year veteran of electronic contract manufacturing, DXG Technology
operates production facilities in mainland China and boasts a strong history
in manufacturing mobile hardware products in addition to conducting
development for digital imaging products. The company has previously
partnered with major brands, such as Kodak and Contour.
"DXG has the network of suppliers and in-house skills required to put our New
Zealand-designed and engineered products into large-scale production," says
Richard Mander, executive vice president of engineering operations for
ikeGPS. "This is crucial to our business as over these past 12 months, we
have grown from shipping 'tens' of products each month to 'hundreds' today,
and from next quarter 'thousands' per month on the back of orders received
through April and May of this year."

requirements now and in the future," Mander adds. "We will continue to
manufacture our highest-value GE MapSight products at our Wellington, New
Zealand, facility. We will also continue to base our software, hardware and
engineering operations teams out of ikeGPS Wellington and Seattle offices,
with the ongoing focus to produce best-in-class hardware devices with
high-value mobile applications, desktop software and cloud services."

next-generation product lines from enterprise customers and original
equipment manufacturing partners. With this new production agreement in
place, ikeGPS is equipped to meet these high-volume orders while maintaining
