NZR 03/08/2015 12:36 OFFICE NOT PRICE SENSITIVE REL: 1236 HRS The New Zealand Refining Company Limited OFFICE: NZR: Resignation of Refining NZ project director Refining NZ (NZR) has today announced that Te Mahi Hou project director, Jack Ariel, is leaving the Company to be closer to his family in the United States. Effective from 28 August 2015, the project director role will be assumed by David Cunningham, a senior member of the team who has worked alongside the project director since the $365 million Te Mahi Hou project began in April 2012. He will work with the CEO and the project team to ensure the project is successfully commissioned in November, 2015. Commenting, CEO Sjoerd Post said: "Jack Ariel has been a good friend and counsel over the past couple of years. While I am sorry to see him leave prior to the project's completion, with Te Mahi Hou now around 95 per cent complete and entering the pre-commissioning phase, we expect the transition to a new director to be "business-as-usual" for the project team and the Company."
