The meek shall inherit earth....it's such a misunderstood concept. Would it be feasible that it refers to intent and the now overwhelming tendency of humanity is to think and function exclusively from greed, fear, and the byproduct of fear is the wrong intent. What is "wrong" in intent? Would it be the fact that humanity has forgotten that we are all ONE, from the same source. We forgot that our essence and underlying being is pure love. That love (that is you and me ...) is being veiled over by ,...by our minds, by our minds being fearful and anxious. Our minds then source their thought material from that FEAR. When thoughts and actions are derived from fear....what chance is there for good intent.? A child is born, and immediately the child's raw mind is subjected and exposed to the environment and thought processes of its surroundings. For a while the child does not know the concepts of: beautiful vs ugly, cool vs uncool , rich vs poor, classy vs yob , ..... And the longer the child's mind remains non- judgemental the better. Eventually the child will easily develop fears concerning the above issues, and the speed of by which the " veil of fears " descends depends largely on the child's parents and environment.
My point is... We should go under our veils , and seek the good in every person, and this world, and accept it as it is. At least try to accept every human as they are and feel the oneness with them even if we feel that their egoic veil is thicker then ours . Less "thinking " of : I am right .... Less association with the outer mind and more with our inner self. I found the less I " think " the more clarity I feel.....
The world is a beautiful place, and let's leave it in a better place than we found it. If we throw in at least a bit of gratitude for all that , is and all we have ..... If more and more did the same the military industries of the world would cease to exist . Thanks for reading my "thoughts" of good intent, and for inspiring me :-)
