I totally agree with you and would like to add the following: In the best interest of every person in any senior position in any company, is to present a bright picture and a positive presentation regardless of the real situation. Actually, this is his job to draw a positive picture. Later on, if the facts follow his presentation, he will end up a hero and if not the shareholders pay for the failure....These people are paid around half a million$ and their job is to tell you half of the truth. Even if they leave the company, they keep quiet.

If u are a truth teller, you end up working for the smith family helping needy people and not as a director in a mining company.
