Sealegs goes B2B with its Amphibious Enablement Systems and is expanding its
hull manufacturer's network globally.
Auckland, Friday 23 October, 2015: Sealegs Corporation Limited today
announced it planned to further develop its licensing strategy focusing on
hull manufacturers in USA and Europe.
Sealegs International CEO David McKee Wright said "Sealegs has received
orders in excess of $2.5 million dollars in the first 6 months to September
2015 from boat manufacturers compared to $0.5 million dollars last year. This
has proven the demand for a greater range of amphibious boat models and hull
manufacturers."
Sealegs first OEM partners, which include Stabicraft and Smuggler Boats in
New Zealand and ASIS boats in the UAE, have proved that existing boat
builders have the ability to embrace our amphibious enablement systems (AES)
and be successful. By introducing new hull manufacturers to our technology
we will be able to broaden the range of amphibious boats available around the
world.
David McKee Wright went on to say "the selection of future OEM partners will
be strategic as the company will look to work with world class manufacturers
with proven designs for commercial and recreational applications. The
combination of world class boat manufacturers with our proven amphibious
technology will provide the market with a wider range of amphibious boats for
a wider range of applications."
Sealegs recently added System 100, an amphibious enablement system designed
for craft up to 6 tonnes to add to its current offering, System 60, designed
for craft that weigh up to 3 tonnes.
