New Chief Executive Appointment
Blis Technologies Limited announces the appointment of Brian Watson as Chief
Executive following the resignation of incumbent chief executive Dr Barry
Richardson announced in August this year.
The board had been presented with a number of impressive candidates during
the recruitment process. However, Mr Watson's related experience and overall
leadership qualities convinced the board he would be the right person to lead
the company through its next stage of development. Mr Watson's strong sales
and marketing credentials and experience are also important for where the
company is going.
Mr Watson is currently Group Manager Preparedness & Response at Fonterra. He
has been with Fonterra since 2011 and prior to that held a number of
management and marketing positions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr Watson will be based in Dunedin and officially starts at Blis Technologies
in mid-February.
