The Directors of the New Zealand Refining Company Limited have received
notification of Mr Timothy Wall's resignation from BP Oil.  As a consequence,
the Board advises that Mr Wall has resigned as a Director of Refining NZ.

The Board would like to acknowledge the significant contribution that Mr Wall
has made during his 4  1/2  year tenure as a Director of Refining NZ.
