Need to be careful with terminology with super funds.
The word "Pension" is when the SMSF is in pension mode & when your super reaches that status you cannot inject more cash to take up rights. You'd have to sell another asset which is already in the fund.
Prior to "pension" status the fund is in accumulation stage - during which you can inject cash to take up rights.
I guess latter applies to you.
