GENERAL: ANB: ANZ Bonds

ANZ Bonds
ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZ) announced today that it is considering
making two offers of unsecured unsubordinated bonds to institutional and New
Zealand retail investors.
The offers are expected to be for up to NZ$100 million floating rate bonds
maturing in three years and up to NZ$100 million fixed rate bonds maturing in
five years (together the Bonds), with the ability to accept unlimited
oversubscriptions at ANZ's discretion.
It is expected that full details of the offers will be released on 10 March
2016, when the offers are expected to open.  The Bonds are expected to be
quoted on the NZX Debt Market.
Investors can register their interest in the offers by contacting ANZ or
their financial advisor. Indications of interest will not constitute an
obligation or commitment of any kind.
No money is currently being sought and no applications for Bonds will be
accepted or money received unless the subscriber has received the applicable
Limited Disclosure Document.  If ANZ proceeds with the offers, they will be
made in accordance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
