The cheapest form of energy is already there pushing up the retail price.
As we increase the amount of renewables we keep increasing the retail price. More renewables mean more transmission lines, batteries, interconnections, grid stabilisation devices, etc etc.
No place on earth can report lower consumer prices from increased renewables.
