Correct the profit reported is due to the sale of an asset not because the mine is running at a profit.
Looking through the cash flow statement and using the cash in captures all the business cost that are left out of the AISC such as corporate overheads, finance cost etc etc.
@soarer method whilst might be suitable for his investments goals, doesn’t give an accurate view of the overall performance of the company nor does it show if they are making true return for all the money they are spending.
