What it is is that the people with the guns now have the power and lack of accountability ( they believe) to act in the way they've always wanted to act. In short it is simply the human animal worshipping the God of this world, true human nature revealed in all it's glory for all to see. Of course nobody like that particular truth because it hits too close to home. Whatever. Why does everyone act so surprised after many thousands of years of the exact same behaviour? We have not evolved morally AT ALL, not one tiny bit as a species.
