FYI Greenspan actually coined the term 'irrational exuberance' in 1996 when was discussing the dot com bubble. He was tossing up the notion of CBs raising rates to pop anything that looked like a bubble.
He ended raising rates in 2000 - a little late on the scene from when he first brought it up.
We know how that story ended but shows markets can do crazy stuff and CBs certainly don't have the best interest of the general public at heart...
Powell is on 60mins on weekend, be interesting to see if he pours cold water on this run or if he blows a little more air into the bubble by patting himself on the back with what a wonderful job he's done....
