Many comparisons to 1970 to 1980 period with inflation etc...
Just a thought but would it be possible for this bear market to be more than 'average'?
Potentially like the 70's?
Don't think I'm scaremongering, I'm actually being realistic so I'll show a a couple of images for bulls and bears.
For the bears, you'll notice the chart below that shows not a great decade when inflation was running hot.
(certainly many upper gaps left stone cold for years).
For the bulls.
Can check the stats and you'll see some major wipe outs but you'll also see some absolute ball tearer years in there eg 1975...
Summary - play safe, play smart on either side...
