I don't think people would mind carrying it around, they carry large tablets, headphones, etc. But you can use these on public transport, in a cafe, at work, in you car (not recommended). But when can you flop out your selfie drone? Only at the beach on a calm day? I can't see hundreds of these things flying around the CBD, would be very annoying, plus they would crash into each other, lol. Also i thought selfies are usually spur of the moment things. So i think kids would carry it and the price is dropping, but is just too impractical for everyday use.
Exstensive marketing may help, people are easy to brainwash.
